Tourist Tax
The town of Monteriggioni introduced a tourist tax, which applies for the first four nights of stay and amounts for this type of accommodation to EUR 2 per person, per night.
It does not apply to children up to 13 years.
Revenues raised from the tax are allocated to investment in the tourism sector and the maintenance and recovery of cultural heritage and local environment.
Terms and Conditions
In the months of July and August stays are weekly; however exceptions can be discussed.
arrival: from 16:00 to 20:00. Different times are possible upon prior agreement.
departure: before 10:00am
Children : until the age of three years are non-paying guests. At the request comes the cradle at a cost of 20 € and high chair free of charge.
Animals allowed prior notice. Pets are welcome as long as educated and supervised. The cost of the animal's stay is 5 Euro per day.
The swimming pool is open from May to September. The opening and closing dates may vary in accordance to weather conditions. The pool is equipped with sun loungers and parasols. Bath towels are not supplied.

The costs related to the consumption of gas during periods when heating is required (usually from November to March).

Weekly outdoor markets from 7:30 to 13:00 (Tuesday in Poggibonsi 20 km, Wednesdays in Siena, 6km and Friday in Colle Val d'Elsa, 15 km away).
Payment Terms
Payment by cash, bank transfer or credit card. At the time of booking a 30% deposit is required.
In the event of a cancellation the deposit will be refunded if the cancellation is made before 40 days from the date of stay or less time if the apartment is re-rented.
